ABOUT

I love those moments when I stand side by side with my grandmother in the kitchen.

Why?
Because that’s when her stories begin to flow.

How to prepare a dish, the best way to savor an ingredient, an old tale connected to today’s meal.
Stories about a recent outing, thoughts she’s been carrying, places she hopes to visit someday.

With the gentle rhythm of chopping and simmering,
she hums the melody of her life.

To me, the act of “food” is more than cooking or eating.
Within that quiet, everyday practice, a person’s story is softly, yet surely, being woven.

Here, I gather those small, easily forgotten stories from our hurried days,
and gently send them out—like a breeze carrying kindness.
